Ingredients


  • 70g Flour (1/2 cup)
  • 35g Whole wheat flour (1/4 cup)
  • 50g Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Lime juice
  • 2-3 tablespoon Ice cold water
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sodium Bicarbonate (one pinch)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder (a big pinch)


Directions


  1. Sieve Flour, wheat flour, sodium bicarbonate and baking powder in a bowl
  2. Add butter(hard), sugar and lime juice and try to rub the butter with the flour batter till it get a bread crumbs consistency. Now, with the help of Ice cold water, knead the batter into a tight dough.
  3. Place the dough in the refrigerator for about 1-2 hours to set
  4. Preheat the Oven at 180 degrees Centigrade
  5. Finally take the dough out of the refrigerator, shape individual tart and bake at 180 Degrees for about 25 minutes
