Ingredients
- 70g Flour (1/2 cup)
- 35g Whole wheat flour (1/4 cup)
- 50g Butter
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Lime juice
- 2-3 tablespoon Ice cold water
- 1/4 teaspoon Sodium Bicarbonate (one pinch)
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder (a big pinch)
Directions
- Sieve Flour, wheat flour, sodium bicarbonate and baking powder in a bowl
- Add butter(hard), sugar and lime juice and try to rub the butter with the flour batter till it get a bread crumbs consistency. Now, with the help of Ice cold water, knead the batter into a tight dough.
- Place the dough in the refrigerator for about 1-2 hours to set
- Preheat the Oven at 180 degrees Centigrade
- Finally take the dough out of the refrigerator, shape individual tart and bake at 180 Degrees for about 25 minutes
